This is the moss-covered forest near Lake Quinault in Washington state. The trees are primarily maple and cedar. There is an abandoned homestead to explore close to this forest. If you continue into the park nearby, you can hike to Irely Lake through old growth forest and alongside a small river. We saw frogs, beavers and ducks along the way.
